The Inn of the Good Shepherd's first spring cash calendar has been a success.
Executive Director Myles Vanni says the money raised will support the roughly 1,200 adults and 700 kids the Inn helps every month.
"We sold 1,250 tickets and we'll probably raise about $8,000 to $10,000," says Vanni. "The proceeds will go towards our summer programs, some of our childrens programs, as well as it's going to make a lot of people happy when they get that phone call to say they're our winner today."
He says some of the money will go towards the child snack-pack program, which gives kids a nutritional snack each week.
