A Sarnia man is facing a long list of charges following a chase with Lambton OPP on Friday evening.
Police say they were called around 4pm about a suspicious man sitting in a Ram pick-up truck outside of a Broadway St. business in Wyoming.
When officers questioned the suspect, it's alleged he fled the area in the truck, went onto a dead-end street, and ran from the scene.
Police caught up to him and were able to make an arrest.
Daniel Ryan Cope, 36, is charged with the following offences:
- Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer.
- Obstruct Peace Officer.
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle.
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000- have stolen pick-up truck.
- Theft of Motor Vehicle- pick-up truck.
- Driving while disqualified.
- Assault a Peace Officer with a weapon.
- Assault a Peace Officer (x2)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x4)
- Drug evaluation demand not complied with - motor vehicle.
- Driving While Ability Impaired - motor vehicle (Alcohol and Drug).
- Possession of a narcotic.
