Out Of This World Performance Planned

Tickets go on sale this Friday for an out-of-this-world performance at Sarnia's Imperial Theatre.

Former astronaut, Sarnia-born Chris Hadfield and his band of fellow astronauts and musicians called Bandella will be performing on July 6.

The group has been performing for over 14 years and play a variety of folk originals, 70s and 80s folk and rock, bluegrass and jazz.

Hadfield, who plays guitar in the band, was recognized internationally after his in-space rendition of David Bowie's "Space Oddity."

Retired NASA astronaut and accomplished flautist Cady Coleman played a duet with Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson from space.

Joe Schmid is a NASA flight surgeon, two-star general and stand-up bass player.

Steve Robinson is a retired NASA astronaut while vocalist Micki Pettit is married to an astronaut.

Tickets go on sale at 9am online and at 11am in person at the theatre box office.
