Go Green Award Winners Announced

The City of Sarnia has announced its third annual Go Green Award winners in recognition of Earth Day.

The small business stewardship award goes to Deb's Shoe Gallery.

The Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park won in the medium to large business category.

Mike Kent has been named the 2018 Eco-Warrior.

The community stewardship award goes to the cluster parishes of St. Benedict, Our Lady of Mercy and St. Joseph churches and Miss Deborah Lumley's Gr. 5 class at Rosedale Public School was named Sarnia's greenest classroom.

The winners will be recognized formally at the start of city council's May 7 meeting.

There's a reception in the main lobby at city hall an hour earlier at 3pm.
