Sarnia's Jeffrey Captures "Swiss-A" Scoring Title

Sarnia native Dustin Jeffrey is finding success overseas with Lausanne HC.

The 29-year-old centre led the Swiss-A hockey league in points this season, with 57 points in 50 games. That includes 13 goals and 44 assists.

He led the league by seven points over Fredrik Pettersson, and teammate Nicklas Danielsson.

His club placed 10th in the 12 team league, and competed in the "ranking round" where Jeffrey had another three goals and six assists in three games.

It's Jeffrey's second season in Switzerland, he notched 46 points in 49 games last year. He put up 33 points in 131 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Arizona.
