Sarnia Legionnaires Looking For New Head Coach

The Sarnia Legionnaires are making wholesale changes following their first round exit from the GOJHL playoffs.

The club is thanking former Head Coach Mark Davis for his three years behind the bench, but he won't be returning to the team.

Bob Williamson is stepping down as general manager of the club, a position he has held for many years. The team says he will remain an active part of the organization's Board of Directors.

Tom Norris is moving into the role of GM, effective immediately. He has been actively involved with the club for many years and he brings a wealth of skills to the role.

Cliff Smith has been elected as the president of the Sarnia Legionnaires Board of Directors, replacing Tom Knight.

With the changes in coaching staff, the Board of Directors says Bob Farlow will take on the role of director of hockey operations.

The Board of Directors, along with the director of hockey operations are now in the process of recruiting a new head coach.

Sarnia was eliminated in the first round of the postseason in five games by the St. Thomas Stars.
