City police laid an impaired driving charge after a vehicle was stopped early Saturday morning riding on the rims of two blown out tires.
At around 4:20am, police acting on a tip from a concerned resident, stopped a pick-up truck in the area of Murphy Rd. and Michigan Ave.
The 29-year-old male driver was arrested and breath samples allegedly indicated he was nearly three times the legal limit.
