CT Fundraising Nearly Complete

The Bluewater Health Foundation is hoping to reach its CT Scanner fundraising goal with this year's Dream Home Lottery.

Executive Director Kathy Alexander says a sellout will get them to $2.4-million, the cost of the scanner that's already been in operation in Sarnia for a year.

"It's a win-win, if you buy a ticket you could win a beautiful home or $300,000 cash but more importantly you're contributing to an incredible piece of equipment that's saving lives in Sarnia-Lambton," says Alexander. "If we sell out this year's Dream Home Lottery, the CT Scanner goal will be achieved so we're really hopeful that people in the community will understand the importance behind that piece of equipment and realize that they have an opportunity to win as well."

Just over 2,000 tickets are left for the Camlachie-area home.

The dream home on 3866 Arie Crt. offers a fully accessible main floor and comes furnished and decorated.

The grand prize draw will be held at Bluewater Health on Friday, February 23.
