Thousands Expected At Brigden Fall Fair

The last and the biggest fall fair of the circuit begins Friday in Brigden.

Spokesperson Julie Maw says the theme this year is "Celebration of Rural Life."

"Our big focus is Canada 150 so we have decorated everything accordingly to celebrate that because that's something we're very proud of," says Maw. "We have brought in a cultural tent too, there's axe throwing, horseshoeing, sharing some of the things are families previously used to do."

Maw says events Friday night include the South Western Ontario Truck and Tractor Pull at 7pm.

The annual parade is at noon Saturday and the Western Ontario Outlaw-Extreme Lawntractor Racing is at 2:30pm Sunday.

The fair continues through Thanksgiving Monday. For a full list of events visit www.brigdenfair.ca
