To move or not to move. That's a question advisory committees for The Hub are considering.
The owners of Sarnia's Preferred Towing have purchased the former ABC Daycare on London Rd. and have offered space to the multi-service location, rent free.
Sarnia-Lambton Reboud Executive Director Carrie McEachran says the offer from Tammy and Gary Vandenheuvel is extremely generous, and they're taking time to wrap their heads around it.
"They've been very good," says McEachran. "They're giving us as much time as we need to think this through. It's a big decision and without sustainable funding at this point and partnerships that have been made, they're wonderful and have granted us as much time as we need."
McEachran says they're still waiting to hear if next years grant submissions have been approved.
175 individuals have made over 2,700 visits to the space since it opened February 13.
Staff have served over 2,300 meals, helped 11 individuals find education or employment, 15 secure housing and 47 with primary health care.
