A display of artistic and literary contributions from around Lambton County

Lambton Mosaic Banner Unveiled

A unique map of the 14 communities of Lambton county has been unveiled.

The Lambton Mosaic Project, a display of artistic and literary contributions, is now on display for public viewing.

The goal of the work is to engage the county in creative project that displays the pride they have in their community.  It features drawings, paintings, photos, poems and short stories from the 11 municipalities and 3 First Nation areas that make up Lambton county.

“We decided to create the mosaic in a celebration of Canada’s 150th,” says Lambton Mosaic Committee chairperson Susie Beynon.  “We opened up the project to everyone in county in order to see the diversity in the community.”

The project was made possible by 15 sponsors from around Canada, and you can view the work LambtonMosaic.com.
