No Warnings Posted At Area BeachesAugust 25, 2017 12:05pm
It’s been a perfect summer so far for beach goers and swimmers.
Lambton Public Health says Lake Huron beaches it tests for water quality have all passed again this week.
Beaches tested include Grand Bend, Pinery, Ipperwash, Highland Glen, Bright’s Grove and Canatara Park.
No warning signs are posted.
Residents are reminded, however, that the water at area beaches may be temporarily polluted for up to 48 hours after heavy rainfall.
If the water becomes cloudy due to wave action, bacteria from the bottom may become suspended and increase the risk of illness.
No sampling is done along the St. Clair River.
