NOVA Chemical's Moore Site is offline for maintenance beginning Monday.
The facility is being shutdown for a scheduled turnaround expected to last until the end of October.
In a news release, NOVA Spokesperson Meaghan Kreeft says elevated flaring and some increased noise are expected during the first couple of days of the outage.
There will also be increased traffic in the area, specifically between the hours of 6am and 8am, and between 5pm and 7pm for the duration of the turnaround.
Scheduled maintenance is taking place at NOVA's St. Clair and Corunna sites as well.
