Unattended cooking is to blame for a house fire in Port Lambton Thursday morning.
The Port Lambton and Becher fire departments responded to Queen St. around 10:30am.
Township of St. Clair fire chief Walt Anderson says that nobody was home at the time but a pot had been left on the stove.
Damage could run as high as $80,000. There were no injuries.
