A former employee was paid the most by Bluewater Health in 2016 despite not being there the entire year.
The hospital paid 51 employees salaries totalling $6.25-million.
At the top of the so-called "sunshine list" is former Vice President, Medical Affairs and Chief of Professional Staff Mark Taylor at $358,000, an increase of about $28,000 over 2015.
Bluewater Health announced in late 2015 that Dr. Taylor was no longer employed at the Sarnia hospital, but was not at liberty to elaborate because it was a personnel matter.
Other notables on the 2016 list are President and CEO Mike Lapaine who was paid $293,000, Vice President of Operations Laurie Zimmer at $151,000, and Business Director of Medicine Susan Roger at $148,000.
Lapaine took over as CEO January 1, 2016 for the retiring Sue Denomy.
