Anglers Host Open House

The Bluewater Anglers are holding their open house this weekend.

It's scheduled for March 18 and 19 at the hatchery just north of the Bluewater Bridge.

Spokesman Ron Allison says they have some salmon, rainbow and brown trout, all in different stages of growth.

He says it's a chance to see the future fish stock for the local waters.

"It's an annual process that we have to go through raising the fish, feeding them and cleaning their tanks but this is a good chance for people to come in and take a look at what we're doing," says Allision.

He says between 50,000 and 100,000 fish are released into area waters annually.

The open house runs from 10am until 4pm both days and admission is free.
