Police Investigating Lanark Crt. Stabbing

A 21-year-old Sarnia man is in a London hospital after being stabbed Sunday night.

Sarnia police say it's believed that after being stabbed shortly before 9:30pm at an address on Lanark Crt., the victim made his way to an address on Vimy Cres. for help.

Constable John Sottosanti says the victim was taken to Bluewater Health for treatment and then transferred to London.

"The stabbing appears to be an isolated incident and not a random act," says Sottosanti. "The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch continue to investigate the matter and are seeking the public's assistance to confirm who the suspect is."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Ken McLachlin at 519-344-8861 ext 6154 or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The name of the victim has not been released.
