Wyoming Pharmacy Robbed (VIDEO & GALLERY)

Lambton OPP continue to investigate a robbery at a pharmacy in Wyoming.

There was a heavy police presence in the town Tuesday morning and the search is ongoing for a lone suspect who held up Paul Marley Pharmacy in the 600-block of Broadway St.

Lambton OPP Constable Chris Doupe says it happened at around 9:35am.

The OPP Emergency Response Team and canine unit were called in.

Sources indicated the pharmacy was robbed at knifepoint but OPP have not confirmed that, saying only that the suspect did present a weapon during the robbery.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 20-25, 6'0" tall and weighing about 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark athletic type of pant, a dark hooded jacket or sweater with a hood attached, white shoes and a light grey toque. He was carrying a backpack suspended from his shoulders.

The OPP are asking anyone who may have noticed the suspect in the area of Broadway St. and Niagara St. between 9:30am and 10:45am to contact them or Crime Stoppers. -With files from Stephanie Chaves
