UPDATE: Suspects Named In Pine Ave. Drug Bust

Sarnia police have released the names of three suspects charged in connection with a drug bust on Pine Ave. last week that saw a fleeing vehicle smash into a car parked on the street.

A lengthy vice unit investigation culminated at around 6pm on March 2.

Police say a vehicle search resulted in the seizure of 56 g of cocaine with an estimated street value of $5,600, and $3,400 in Canadian currency was seized from a suspect.

Mark Clarke, 33, of Mississauga remains in custody in Sarnia while Nicole Odia, 45, of Mississauga and Randall Anthony Gillis, 46, of Sarnia were released on bail.

All three are charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine and Clarke and Odia are further charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Clarke also faces a charge of dangerous driving and possession of marijuana under 30 g.

Police say while making the arrests, a suspect allegedly tried to flee by driving backwards on the wrong side of the road but hit a parked car causing significant damage to both vehicles.

No police officers or civilians were injured in the incident.
