Sarnia has unofficially set another record February high.
The temperature climbed to 18.3 C (64 F) at Chris Hadfield Airport at 3pm on Wednesday, smashing the previous mark for February 22 of 11.2 C (52 F) set in 1984.
Last Saturday, February 18, the previous record set in 1949 was crushed by several degrees when the mercury reached 18.9 C (64 F) and last Sunday, February 19, the standing record of 13.2 C (55 F) was matched.
Highs in the double digits are forecast through Friday in Sarnia.
The record for Thursday, February 23, is 14.2 C (57 F) set in 1984 and a high of 16 C (61 F) is forecast in Sarnia.
