New data from the Trillium Gift of Life Network showed 47% of Sarnia residents are registered organ donors, well above the provincial average of 30%

The statistics also showed province-wide, deceased organ donation increased by 30%.
About 1,500 Ontarians are currently waiting for an organ transplant.
