Three People Face Charges In Drug Bust

Two men and one woman face drug trafficking charges following the execution of a search warrant in the 2900-block of Confederation Line in Sarnia late Friday afternoon.

Police say prior to conducting the search of a residence, 27-year-old Brian Rice had been arrested during a traffic stop for possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The vice unit and members of the criminal investigation branch entered the home at about 5:50pm and encountered four individuals.

Police say they seized 28 g of methamphetamine with a street value of $2,800, 52 g of cannabis marijuana with a street value of $520, along with small quantities of crack cocaine, hash oil, and shatter and $1,300 in cash.

Also facing charges of possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking are 45-year-old Kimberly Brennan and 44-year-old Brian Richard White.

All three were being held for bail hearings.

Police say two other people in the home were released unconditionally.
