Tile Yard Rd. is closed between Rokeby Line and Shiloh Line due to poor road conditions.
Enniskillen Roads Superintendent Mike Cumming says a mild winter has caused soft spots in the gravel road surface.
Cumming says Hydro One trucks have been frequently travelling down the road, as the utility replaces pole lines between the town of Petrolia and Courtright Line.
That has also caused bad spots on the road.
He says repairs will include filling in holes and installing new drainage under the road.
It's expected to remain closed for another week or two.
