Goodwill Industries Essex Kent Lambton wants to ensure customers that its doors are still open to business, despite recent closures in the Greater Toronto Area.
CEO Kevin Smith says five stores total in Windsor, Chatham and Sarnia are all up and running.
"We're saddened by this development," says Smith. "We don't have any information about why they closed, but we're very, very confident and everything is going extremely well for our Goodwill and it will not directly impact us."
Smith says they're also looking to hire at all three stores, including five to six positions in Sarnia.
It was announced Monday Goodwill Industries of Toronto, Eastern, Central and Northern Ontario will close 16 of its stores, due to what's being called a "cash flow crisis."
