Flu Clinics Wrap Up

Lambton Public Health Flu Clinics have wrapped up.

Supervisor Erin Courtney says about 1,800 people attended one of the ten clinics across Sarnia-Lambton.

She says they held 21 fewer clinics this year, because where people are getting their flu shot is changing.

Courtney says its best to make sure you have your flu shot before the busy holiday season.

The vaccine is still available by appointment at Lambton Public Health or your family physician.

There were 63 lab confirmed cases of influenza and three flu-related deaths in Sarnia Lambton last flu season.
