A 41-year-old truck driver from Kitchener has been charged with careless driving after the big rig he was driving left the eastbound Hwy. 402 east of Oil Heritage Rd. Monday around 7am.
The 18-wheeler ended up on its side, forcing the closure of the eastbound lanes of the highway in the area for about six hours.
OPP, Lambton EMS and Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department all responded to the collision.
The driver was not injured.
