The transport of a large propane dryer is planned locally Thursday.
A pressure vessel, about 50 ft long and weighing over 215,000 lbs, is to be moved from Alliance Fabricating on Chester St. in Sarnia to the Pembina Corunna Midstream facility.
Alliance Fabricating Engineering Manager John McInnis says the move, being conducted by the heavy lift and transport company Mammoet, is expected to begin around 8am with off-loading at the destination being completed by day's end.
He says it'll travel down Confederation St. to Blackwell Rd. to LaSalle Line and then to the plant site.
There will be police escort.
