The Board of Directors at River City Vineyard will soon develop a business plan with hopes of re-opening a ten-bed homeless shelter in mid-November.
Pastor George Esser says they also need to do some refurbishing at the Mitton St. shelter.

July 3, the court of appeal overturned a lower court ruling that closed the shelter in June 2014, saying the city's zoning bylaw had been misinterpreted.
