'Toxic Tour' March Through Chemical Valley

Organizers say over 500 people from across Ontario will march through Sarnia's Chemical Valley Saturday.

The so called "Toxic Tour" is designed to raise awareness about the impact of industry on Aamjiwnaang First Nation.

Participants are calling for a halt to further industrial development including a proposed heavy oil upgrader.

Buses from several major Ontario cities and Montreal were expected to start arriving in town today (Friday) for a welcome feast at the Aamjiwnaang Community Centre.

The march begins at noon tomorrow near the Aamjiwnaang band office.
