Commemorating Canadian Soldiers

45 students from Normandy held a ceremony in Sarnia on Tuesday commemorating Canadian soldiers who fell in the liberation of France during World War II.

The young volunteers, from Westlake Brothers Souvenir Association, led the ceremony of readings, hymns, and laying of the wreaths outside the Royal Canadian Legion on Front St.

Student Adelaide Caillet says it's an honour to be on Canadian soil thanking and remembering those soldiers.
