Bluewater Health CEO Retiring

Sue Denomy is retiring December 31 after seven years as President and CEO of Bluewater Health.

Her career in healthcare began as a registered nurse and has spanned more than 40 years.

At a media conference Thursday, Denomy said the decision took two-to-three years to finally decide it was time.

She says a new leader will face many upcoming changes at the hospital.

For the remaining five months, Denomy will help to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and priorities.

At 61 years old, Denomy says she's looking forward to travelling with her husband and spending time with her two grandchildren.

It's expected the board of directors will make a leadership announcement shortly.
