Sting Season Ticket Sales Up

The Sarnia Sting say season ticket sales are 14 per cent ahead of last year's pace and the team is hoping the RBC Centre will be full on most game nights.

The spike is attributed to the team's strong play last season and expanding the reach into the American market with events like the upcoming preseason game in Port Huron.

President Bill Abercrombie says fans will notice changes at the rink this coming season. They include a new paint job on the concourse, new dasher boards, hand rails on the aisles, and new concessions.

Abercrombie, new Sting owner Derian Hatcher and GM Nick Sinclair spoke at the Seaway Kiwanis luncheon Tuesday afternoon.
