A 61-year-old Walpole Island man suffered serious injuries Friday when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving came into collision with a motor vehicle.
Lambton OPP is assisting the Walpole Island Police Service in the investigation of the crash that occurred around 9am July 24, at Tecumseh Rd. and Creek Rd., on Walpole Island First Nation.
Police say an ATV southbound on Creek Rd. and a motor vehicle eastbound on Tecumseh Rd. collided at the intersection.
Cedric Lee Isaac of Walpole Island was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were called in and the intersection was closed for several hours.
