This is Emergency Preparedness Week.
Hydro One advises residents to stock an emergency kit with water, two litres per person per day, canned or dried food, a manual can opener, windup or battery powered flashlight and radio as well as cash, a warm blanket, candles, matches and a first aid kit.
Emergency Preparedness Day is on this Friday at the Clearwater Arenas.
