Sarnia council has asked staff to study the traffic flow on Vidal St. near Confederation St.
The decision was made after council decided to table a rezoning application for 373 Vidal St. S.
City staff have said a methadone clinic is proposed for the commercial site, but owner Henry Mehta, says he's just applying so a physician can practice on his property.

Irene Flory, who owns a neighbouring residential rental property at 354 Vidal St., didn't buy Mehta's claim and presented council with a petition expressing many concerns, including more traffic.

Sarnia councillor and Lambton County Warden Bev MacDougall suggested enlisting a coordinator, to help oversee and manage where these facilities go, could aleviate some of these issues in the future.
