St Clair Township councillors have their work cut out for them heading into budget deliberations today.
Mayor Steve Arnold says they're facing a 12 per cent increase in expenditures that adds $1.1-million to last year's $11-million dollar budget.

Prior to any cuts taxpayers face an increase of about 10 per cent.
