Bluewater Power says its purchase of Tecumseh-based Unconquered Sun Ltd. is a great move for both parties.
Bluewater Power CEO Janice McMichael-Dennis says it's part of the utility's corporate strategy to bring the best value to the community.
She says they are looking at possibly making more purchases this year.

McMichael-Dennis says the purchase could result in solar energy expanding further into the Sarnia area. It's allowed Unconquered Sun to hire five new employees.
Staff will commute back and forth between the Tecumseh and Sarnia locations while Unconquered Sun will also be required to provide monthly revenue reports to Bluewater Power.
