Police Embrace New Technology To ID Stolen Items

Sarnia police officers are now using the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police-endorsed Trace Pen technology.

It allows residents to mark and register valuables in case of theft.

Constable Chris Moxley says each Trace Pen provides the owner with a unique number to identify their property.

The devices are available for sale for about $40 at local Home Hardware stores, or through the Trace Pen website.
