Lambton Mall in Sarnia has a new owner. It’s been purchased by the Ontario Pension Board and a subsidiary of KingSett Capital. Former Lambton Mall owner Primaris Retail Real Estate has sold 18 properties to KingSett and another 25 to its preferred buyer H & R Real Estate Investment Trust. The deal is a compromise between two rival suitors for Primaris, one of Canada’s largest shopping mall operators.
