Officials say the Lambton Area Water Supply System is prepared for any possible interruption to hydro service.

In fact, General Manager Susan MacFarlane says the water treatment plant on the Lake Huron shore had power go out a couple of times in this week’s high winds.

The plant’s main power line came close to crashing to the ground. Bluewater Power has been forced to prop up one of the poles near the Pt Edward public walkway. More permanent repairs are on a long list.
