John Mellencamp and The Sheepdogs rocked the second night of Bayfest yesterday.

From an acoustic version of the classic Jack and Diane, to R-O-C-K in the U-S-A, Mellencamp had the crowd up on their feet singing all the familiar classics.

About 15 thousand fans were packed into the park. Two people were arrested but besides that the crowd wasn’t rowdy.

Gates open tonight at 6pm, with Alice Cooper set to take the stage at 7:00 – and Iron Maiden at 9pm.
