The Palmerston Marlins U 14 team turned a first game loss into a golden memory at a provincial tournament over the weekend.
After losing to Mississauga in their first game, the Marlins won six straight including the final.
The Marlins beat Coburg, Chatham, Corinna, Barrie, Kitchener, and the Milton in the final.
The score in the championship game was 2-1.
