OHL Partners With Bruce Power

The Ontario Hockey League and Bruce Power have reached a new marketing agreement.

Dubbed the “Powering the OHL” initiative, Bruce Power will be partnering with the league to put on charitable events in some of the 20 markets, while also educating families about the key role Bruce Power plays in energy creation for the province.

“Bruce Power is very proud to be Powering the Ontario Hockey League this season” says James Scongack, Bruce Power’s Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Environment. “The OHL plays an important role in communities across Ontario, and, through our involvement with the league, we look forward to discussing the role Bruce Power nuclear plays and raising funds for key charities through this partnership.”

OHL Commissioner and CHL President David Branch, says partnering with Bruce Power made sense for both organizations.

“Our shared goals of supporting Ontario communities make this partnership a good fit, and we look forward to building a powerful relationship in 2017-18.”
