UPDATE: Silver Stick Finals In Forest And Sarnia

Atom "C" Lambton Shores 5 TCDMHA 4

The Hanover Falcons and TCDMHA Rebels are the two Atom teams competing at this weekend's International Silver Stick Finals in Forest.

Hanover plays its first game in the "B" Division at 8:00am versus Petrolia then will skate against Penetang at 11:30am. In the "C" Divison, TCHDMHA is to face Lambton Shores at 9:10am in Thedford, then skate against the Deep River Knights at 2:30pm in Forest.

In Bantam "C" there are three local teams competing. The Blyth-Brussels Crusaders, West Grey Warriors and Flesherton Golden Hawks all start today.

The Crusaders' only game is at 12:40pm today against Mariposa in Watford. West Grey is in the same pool and will face the Southwest Bullets at 2:05pm in Watford. And Flesherton plays two games with the first at 1:05pm versus Lambton Shores in Forest and the second at 6:15pm against the Geneva Cyclones.

A number of girls hockey teams are in Sarnia for their Silver Stick run.

Midget and Peewee teams start play today.

The Kincardine Kinucks compete in the Midget "BB" pool and face the Lambton Attack at 10:45am on Friday.

Mitchell and Mount Forest are in the same Midget "B" pool with the Meteors playing Sarnia at 10:45am and Mount Forest playing Hershey at 12:15pm. In the other pool, the South Huron Sabres draw Chatham at noon.

In Peewee "B", the Kincardine Kinucks take on Caledon at 11:30am in their first game of the tournament.

The Owen Sound Icehawks are competing in Peewee "BB" and the Stratford Aces are in Peewee "A".

Round robin play continues all day Friday and Saturday with the finals on Sunday.
