WOAA Senior Hockey Playoffs

The playoff format is set in WOAA Senior Hockey.

The top four teams in the north and south advance to the "AA" playoffs while the remaining four in the north and two in the south advance to the "A" palyoff.

In the North Division, the Durham Thundercats finished first with 38 points and will face Elora in the "AA" quarter-finals.  Second place Saugeen Shores will take on Mapelton-Minto.

In the south, Tillsonburg finished first with 36 points and draws Clinton in the quarter-finals.  Tavistock and Petrolia meet up in the other series.

In the "A" playoffs, four teams from the north and two teams are re-seeded one through six and play a round robin.  The top three teams play three home games and two road games while the bottom three teams play two home games and three road games.  The top four teams advance from the six team round robin into the "A" semi-finals.

The WOAA Senior Hockey playoffs run through February and March and the league is expected to wrap up in early April.
