Drug Charges Laid In Seaforth Search

A Seaforth man faces a number of charges after police raided a home on Main St.

The search happened Friday and police seized methamphetamine, cannabis marijuana and cannabis resin. The estimated, combined value of the seized controlled substances is $5,450.

Also found during the search, stolen property, trafficking paraphernalia, cash, a sawed-off shotgun, an imitation rifle, ammunition, digital scales, cell phones, a motorcycle, a generator, a MIG welder and a stolen licence plate. The combined estimated value of the offence related and recovered stolen property is $8,500.

Kevin Barry, 39, from Seaforth faces a number of charges including possession of a Schedule I substance for the purposes of trafficking (methamphetamine), possession of a Schedule II substance (cannabis marijuana), unlawfully producing a substance (cannabis marijuana) and failing to comply with a recognizance.

Alisha Netterfield, 29, from Seaforth has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purposes of trafficking (methamphetamine), possession of a Schedule II substance (cannabis marijuana), and unlawfully producing a substance (cannabis marijuana).

This investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
