ATV Thieves Gearing Up For The Season

ATV owners may want to ensure they lock up their machines and hide the keys, as thefts continue to plague the region.

South Bruce OPP say a Green Yamaha Grizzly ATV worth about $8,000 was taken from a home on Queen St. in Kincardine sometime Sunday night.

Last Friday night a yellow Can-Am ATV worth about $9,000 was stolen at about 9am from a property on Concession Two in Brant Township.

Early in the morning of May 6, a 2015 yellow Can-Am ATV was taken from a property on Bayfield River Rd. in Huron County.

Perth County OPP says on May 10 a yellow Can-Am ATV was parked in a farm field on Perth Line 15 in Perth South and was missing when the owner returned.

A 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force was taken from Perth Rd. 134 in Perth South, but it was under repair and the tires had been removed. The thieves later returned and stole them too.

On May 7, a 2018 Suzuki 500 camouflage quad cab with keys in the ignition was stolen from a barn on Howick Minto Townline.
