The manhunt in Grey County for a suspect believed to be armed has ended successfully.
Shortly after 4:00 Friday morning, the OPP arrested a 23-year-old man from Hanover without incident.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending against Aaron Stadtlander-Herman.
Throughout the night, members of the OPP Tactical Rescue Unit, a Canine Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, and members of the South Bruce and Bruce Peninsula OPP detachments assisted Grey County OPP with the search.
The initial incident began shortly before 3:00 yesterday afternoon, when police received a report of an armed man on Side road 5 in Sullivan Township.
The weapons call prompted a lockdown at Sullivan Community School in Desboro. Parents were allowed to pick up their children around 4:30 if they approached the school from the north. All students and staff safely left the school by 6:00 o'clock.
