A new office in Tiverton will house up to 25 employees to help support the Bruce Power life extension project.

Burns and McDonnell and Modus Strategic Solutions will play a key project controls role by implementing improvements across Bruce Power.

The company provides project management tools, processes, and trained personnel to safely deliver quality projects on time, and on budget.

Ryan Smith, Director of Canadian Operations for Modus said the company is grateful for the opportunity to become part of the community, and his employees are looking forward to working on the site.

“Our team will help Bruce Power’s project organizations effectively plan their work, identify and mitigate risks, monitor performance, support resolution of issues and predict project outcomes during execution of all of Bruce Power’s upcoming capital projects and programs,” Smith said.

This program is vitally important for the Province of Ontario and Bruce Power, said Rick Halil, Vice President, Burns & McDonnell-Canada and General Manager of the firm’s Energy Division.
