West Grey has a new Chief Administrative Officer-Deputy Clerk.
Mayor Kevin Eccles says Laura Johnston began her new role today.
Eccles says she brings solid experience and an enthusiastic approach to the position.
Johnston has an Executive Diploma in Municipal Management as well as a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership
She comes from the Town of Caledon where she led the Strategic Initiatives Department.
“I am passionate about community building and excited about West Grey’s future,” said Johnston. “I look forward to working with Council and West Grey’s talented and skilled staff as we continue supporting Council’s priorities and serving the residents of this community.”
